Is our data shared with external AI models?
No raw data, ever. The Brain queries your data directly inside your own infrastructure. Most Copilot activities share no data at all. Only when a user explicitly selects "Share with AI" does Copilot send derived, aggregated results — never raw records — to an external model.
Is pricing per user?
No. Every plan — including Free — comes with unlimited users. You pay for Brains, records, AI credits and agent environments, not seats.
What is a Brain?
A Brain is a secure space that holds your connected data and answers questions on it in plain language. On Pro you can run unlimited Brains — one per department, subsidiary or client, each with its own isolated data space.
What is an agent environment?
An agent environment is where Agents run and complete tasks. Just as a Brain has its own space to keep data, Agents have their own space to execute — AI agents, business processes and data pipelines. Each environment is $100 per month.
How does Matrix keep our data secure and compliant?
